Add support for Query populated by shortcode-driven CSV list of PostIDs
Source: elementor/elementor#25575 · opened by @pbaddock
Prerequisites • I have searched for similar feature requests in both open and closed discussions and cannot find an existing request. • I have verified that the feature is still missing from the latest stable versions of Elementor or Elementor Pro. What problem is your feature request going to solve? Please describe.. I find the custom query infrastructure to be less then reliable when writing trying to use the custom query filter hooks in the elementor documentation (even with assistance from chatGPT) - I'm halfa coder which doesn't help (not deep/experienced in php). JetEngine from crocoblock supports an ability to set a query source as 'shorcode result' where I can get chatGPT to write me a custom shortcode which returns a CSV list of post ids and I've found I use this over and over in projects to populate the query source where i want to do something a bit customised / outside standard queries. I would love to see this in Elementor…
