Add native hCaptcha support to Elementor Pro Forms
Source: elementor/elementor#31259 · opened by @kagg-design
Describe the Problem Dear Elementor Team, I maintain the [hCaptcha WordPress plugin]( which provides privacy-friendly hCAPTCHA protection across a wide range of WordPress form builders. With Google transitioning reCAPTCHA to a paid model and increasing concerns around GDPR compliance, many WordPress users actively seek a reliable, privacy-first alternative like hCaptcha. To address this need, I’ve prepared a native hCaptcha integration module for Elementor Pro. It adds an hCaptcha form field to the Form widget, which is implemented in the same way as your existing reCAPTCHA field. The hCaptcha element can be placed anywhere in the form using the Elementor editor. The code is designed to follow Elementor's existing structure and practices, is entirely optional, and lightweight. I’d be glad to maintain the integration and make any adjustments you require. This addition would benefit your privacy-conscious users immediately and help future-proof Elementor agains…
