Prerequisites
• I have searched for similar features requests in both open and closed tickets and cannot find a duplicate.
• The feature is still missing in the latest stable version of Elementor ( Elementor Pro )
What problem is your feature request going to solve? Please describe.
I see pro post widget excerpt, there is no any available hooks for modifying post excerpts words counts as character. If you are adding new feature request for displaying post excerpt as a character then it would be a great.

Adding new options true/false for displaying post excerpt as a character count or something.
