Lightweight Docmost Integration via Outbound Hooks

As a Docmost user, I really appreciate the direction of the roadmap and the conscious decision not to copy ClickUp, Notion, or similar “everything tools.” Keeping Docmost focused and opinionated is a big strength. In that spirit, I’d like to suggest an approach for integrations that avoids overloading Docmost with communication features. Docmost should not become a communication tool. Instead, it should expose simple, reliable outbound hooks so that other systems can react to documentation events. Docmost emits events. -> Communication systems decide what to do with them. What this enables (from my perspective) • Chat and notification tools (Matrix, Mattermost, Slack, etc.) handle discussion and alerts • Task managers (Planka, Plane, Vikunja, etc.) handle execution • Docmost stays lean, focused on documentation and knowledge What Docmost would provide • Minimal outbound webhooks for key events (document created/updated/published, comments,…
