Feature request: Global search across public pages for unauthorized users

Feature request: Global search across public pages for unauthorized users: It would be great if public pages had a default home page with a global search function, or if the search bar at the top of the page performed that function. Users already have access to these pages (or at least they can likely be found using a web scanner), so why not handle this in an organized way?
