Chatwoot already supports chatbot integrations like Dialogflow and its own Captain AI agent for automating responses, but these options may lack advanced stateful memory management for long-term customer interactions. For example, users are often frustrated when handling ongoing support conversations where the AI forgets previous context across sessions, leading to repetitive questions and poorer user experiences. Letta provides open-source stateful AI agents with self-editing memory hierarchies, perpetual message history, and self-improvement capabilities, which could address this by enabling more persistent, context-aware support bots.
